Beginning yesterday, 3-15-99, the Great Lakes Radio Consortium (GLRC) began airing the following stories on public radio stations around the Great Lakes  Region.  Please check your local station for exact times.  You can also  hear these stories on the GLRC  Web Site (http://www.glrc.org) by using Real Audio (free software - download from (http://www.real.com).  This week's features include:

-    SCIENCE CENTER BRINGS LESSONS HOME
-    HIGHWAY THREATENS SACRED TRIBAL LANDS
-    COMMENTARY - SPRING BEAR HUNT CALLED OFF
-    NEW ALTERNATIVE TO ROAD SALT
-    CLEAN UP PLANNED FOR FOX RIVER
-    NEW RESTRICTIONS ON FARMWATER RUNOFF
