Research Review: Removing Nuisance Fish Species from Diked Wetlands

Research was conducted to develop a technique for the selective removal of carp and bullhead from diked wetlands.

Lampricide Reduction: A High Priority in the Sea Lamprey Battle

Much of sea lamprey control success is due to the use of a lampricide TFM (3-trifluromethyl-4-nitrophenol). The Great Lakes Fishery Commission and its agents plan to reduce its use by 50 percent by the year 2001.
