GLIN==>> NEMW/Great Lakes Hill Update - Appropriations News

     The Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture provided $500,000 for
the Great Lakes Basin Program for Soil Erosion and Sediment Control.  Additional
funding levels for national programs (Conservation Operations, NRCS Technical 
Assistance, CRP, WRP, EQIP and Farmland Preservation) should be available 
following the full Committee markup scheduled for today (6/17).  I'll send an 
announcement and post to the web-site as soon as they are released.
