GLIN==>> NEMW/Great Lakes Hill Update - WRDA 1999

     Conferees have still not been appointed for WRDA 1999 (by either chamber). 
On the House side, committee staff indicate that the Committee has 'moved on' to
Superfund reform while the Republican leadership work out the CA issues (Auburn 
dam).

        Meanwhile, the Senate committee is planning to take up the House bill, 
amend to meet Senate concerns, and pass the amended House bill (which throws it 
back to the House for consideration).
