GLIN==>> NEMW/Great Lakes Hill Update - WRDA

          The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works has developed a 
set of amendments to H.R. 1480 (WRDA 1999) which will be brought to the full 
Senate shortly after the July 4 recess.  If passed by the Senate, this would act
as a 'compromise bill' and return to the House for passage.

        Details of the Senate amendments relevant to the Great Lakes region are 
in the right hand column of the updated documents on the NEMW Institute's  
website (http://www.nemw.org/glupdate.htm).
