GLIN==> FY 2000 Appropriations Information Available

     Updated FY2000 Appropriations charts are available from the Great 
     Laeks Task Force at:

     The Senate VA-HUD and Independent Agencies Appropriations Committee 
     has released their bill and report, and Senate floor action is 
     expected this week.  
     
     Of Note:
     
     We are happy to report the Great Lakes National Program Office funding 
     was restored to the FY 1999 level of $14.7 million. The House Bill cut 
     funding to $13.37 million. The discrepancy will be taken up in 
     Conference after passage of the Senate bill.
