THE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN . . .


There are only nine days left until the University of Illinois at Chicago's 
(UIC's) Seventh Annual Great Cities Winter Forum, "Midwestern Cities: 
Resurgence in the Rustbelt?,"  offering a unique opportunity for scholars 
and researchers, community, business, and government leaders to come 
together to discuss key trends and changes in Midwestern cities in the 
areas of population growth and decline, suburbanization, economic 
restructuring, and health in the region and environment.

The registration deadline for this December 3 program has been extended 
beyond November 22 to accommodate heavy demand, so there's still to sign up.
