GLNPO FY 2000 - 2001 Great Lakes Funding Guidance

The FY 2000 - 2001 Great Lakes Funding Guidance has been delayed until
around December 15,
1999 as a result of ongoing budget discussions and Y2K precautions.
Preproposals will be due to
USEPA Great Lakes National Program Office (GLNPO) in early February.

We expect to request preproposals in the following areas:
     -    Contaminated Sediments
     -    Pollution Prevention and Reduction
     -    Ecological (Habitat) Protection and Restoration
     -    Invasive Species
     -    Emerging Issues

It is not too early to begin collaboration with prospective partners to
begin development of your
preproposals.  As you develop your ideas, you may want to consider the
summaries of projects
