GLIN==> Examples & Contacts Needed

I need some examples, and information about people to contact who have had
experience with either of these issues:

1. The restoration of small, washed-out islands or eroded beaches, using a
combination of constructed armored headlands and captive gravel beaches with
gentle slopes to assure stability of the islands or beaches.

2. Safe exclusion of cormorants and other diving waterfowl from large water
intakes where the birds are presently sucked into intake pipes and drowned.
