GLIN==> NE-MW Water Infrastructure Briefing Time Change

Please be advised that the WIN briefing (below) will begin at 2:00 pm
rather than the originally scheduled 3:00 pm time.

WATER INFRASTRUCTURE BRIEFING
-----------------------------
The Northeast-Midwest Coalitions on Wednesday, May 3, will host a
briefing on the region's water infrastructure crisis. Over the next
two decades, communities of all sizes, in every congressional
district, will need to make significant upgrades to their drinking
water and wastewater treatment systems. The briefing will feature a
new report outlining water infrastructure needs, as well as findings
by Environmental Protection Agency officials.

The report was developed under the auspices of the Water
Infrastructure Network (WIN), a coalition of local elected officials,
wastewater treatment and drinking water providers, environmental
organizations, contractors, and environmental engineers. It
highlights the increasing "gap" between the nation's water
infrastructure needs and the federal government's financial commitment
to safe and clean water.

The briefing on May 3 will begin at 2:00 pm in room SC-6 of the
U.S. Capitol.
