SPECIAL PRE-CONFERENCE DINNER JUNE 8

WINE & DINE FOR THE WATERSHED
An Evening for the Kalamazoo River Watershed

featuring Ms Lee Botts,  Great Lakes Advocate and longtime supporter of the
Lake Michigan Basin.

This special pre-conference dinner will be held at the historic victorian
Ladies Library Association, downtown Kalamazoo (within walking distance of
the Raddisson Hotel, the conference site.)   Cost $25.00 per person.

* A special Champagne Reception will begin @ 6:15 pm.

Addressing Public Health Concerns at the Watershed Level

A Workshop for Watershed Management and Public Health Professionals

Kalamazoo, MI

The workshop will focus on environmental health issues in the Great
Lakes Basin and opportunities to address them through local watershed
planning programs.  The workshop will emphasize actions to create and
enhance connections between watershed management and public health
programs and activities.  Speakers include representatives from federal,
state and local agencies involved in watershed management and public
health programs.  Breakout sessions will present case studies on
Identifying Threats to Public Health from Water Quality Contamination;
Techniques and Approaches to Watershed Management; and Community
Outreach to Address Environmental Health Concerns.
