This fall Buffalo State College is going to offer a course in applied
meteorology. It will provide 40 hours of study and hands-on experience and
will include an introduction to meteorology (10 hr.), world climatology (10
hr.), applied meteorology (10 hr.), and weather forecasting (10 hr.). An
internship or project (10 hr. / week for 12 weeks = 120 hr) is to be
completed as well. A start date in the fall has yet to be decided.

If you can think of any groups (shipping companies, hydrologists, etc) that
might be interested in this course, please forward us a contact name and
address, so we can send them a brochure.
