GLIN==> NYSG: KNAUSS FELLOWSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 2001



New York Sea Grant is pleased to invite applications for the Dean John A.
Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship, for 2001.  Applications from New York
students are due in our office by close of business on August 30, 2000.
Below is a brief description of the NYSG announcement.


Special Announcement

Applications are now being accepted for the
Dean John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship

This fellowship provides the opportunity and support for a year's
educational experience in the nation's capitol. The program is open to the
legislative and executive branches of the Federal Government and
associations and institutions in the Washington, D.C. area. Length of
assignment is one-year (non-renewable), with inclusive dates of the
official fellowship being February 1-January 31, 2001. However, these dates
can be slightly adjusted to accommodate academic semester needs.
