Attached is the updated preliminary brochure for the Interstate Council on
Water Policy's upcoming Annual Meeting in Chicago.  The meeting will be held
September 18-19 at the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza in downtown Chicago.

We are particularly excited about this year's agenda and hope that you will
be able to join us for timely and informative discussions on drought
management/water conservation on Monday, September 18 and a discussion of
whether there is a need for a national water reources policy on Tuesday,
September 19.  We are also very pleased to announce that Governor Jim
Geringer of Wyoming is planning to address attendees on Enlibra at the
luncheon on Tuesday, September 19.

August 27 Room Cutoff Date

Please note that the cutoff date for hotel reservations at the special ICWP
rate of $130 single (the government rate for Chicago) or $150 double is
Sunday, August 27.  We are working to have the date extended, but at this
time we urge you to make your reservations before the August 27 cutoff date.

ICWP's 2000 Annual Meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza
located at 350 North Orleans Street in Chicago, Illinois.

The Holiday Inn is offering ICWP Annual Meeting attendees the reduced room
rates of $130/single and $150/double for the nights of Sun., Sept. 17 -
Tues., Sept. 19.  Please make your room reservations by calling the hotel
directly at (312) 836-5000.  You must make your reservations no later than
August 27, 2000 and be sure to mention ICWP in order to receive these
discounted rates.

Registration Information & Policies

Registrations must be received no later than September 15, 2000.  After this
date, only on-site registrations will be accepted.

Cancellations received before September 11, 2000 are entitled to a
reimbursement of the registration less a $50 processing fee.  Cancellations
received after September 11, 2000 are not entitled to a refund.
