FIRST CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSION CHAIRS
8th Annual St. Lawrence River Ecosystem Conference
May 15-16th, 2001
at the NavCanada Conference and Training Centre
Cornwall, Ontario, Canada
We hope that you will participate in the 8th Annual International
Conference on the St. Lawrence River Ecosystem. Host of the conference, is
the St. Lawrence River Institute of Environmental Sciences (SLRIES), a
non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to environmental research and
education.
The theme for this year's conference is
Our Future Water Supply - Is There Cause for Concern?
to be held on May 15-16th, 2001 at the NavCanada Conference and Training
Centre in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. This year's theme reflects the
increasing demand to question the safety of our future water supply, its
quality, quantity, and its management with a focus on the St. Lawrence
River and its watersheds.
WE INVITE YOU TO BECOME A SPECIAL SESSION CHAIR
Below is a list of themes for Special Sessions. The final arrangement and
number of session topics will depend on the abstracts received. We will
welcome your suggestions for additional or alternate themes.
