GLIN==> MDEQ meetings to address sand dune mining in Michigan

Concerns raised by the Lake Michigan Federation and citizens about
mining in Lake Michigan's sand dunes have resulted in a decision by the
Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to hold two public
meetings to address the concerns.

The meetings, which begin at 7 p.m., are scheduled for November 8 at Lake
Michigan College in Benton Harbor and November 13 at the Norton Shores
Library in Muskegon.
