GLIN selected as OUTSTANDING GREAT LAKES CULTURAL WEB SITE

The Great Lakes Information Network is being honored this weekend by
Michigan State University's newly established Center for Great Lakes
Culture. The award recognizes GLIN's cultural importance, exceptional
content and quality, and effective design. The Center will be presenting
the award Feb. 17 during their conference, "Mapping Great Lakes
Identity: Past, Present and Future."

This new site from the Great Lakes Indian Fish & Wildlife Commission

This weekend, help scientists advance their knowledge of winter bird
populations by participating in the 4th Annual Great Backyard Bird Count
(GBBC). The GBBC web site provides species lists, maps and other
information, such as an online bird guide, to help you monitor the birds
in your backyard.
