GLIN==> WATER RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM, APRIL 12




Illinois Indiana Sea Grant is hosting the first biennial Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant College Program (IISGCP) Research Symposium, April 12, 2001, Chicago, Illinois.  This one-day Symposium will feature IISGCP researchers speaking on a variety of topics of interest to the southern Lake Michigan region including: impacts of invasive species and potential control methods; ways of reducing beach closures due to E. coli bacteria; effective management of the limited water supply in northeastern Illinois; and new tools that will help improve fish growth in aquaculture systems.  There is no charge for the Symposium.  Lunch and snacks will be provided.
