GLIN==> Fleetwing Featured on Wisconsin's Great Lakes Shipwrecks

The Fleetwing, a classic Great Lakes "grain clipper" built in 1867, is now
featured on the Web site "Wisconsin's Great Lakes Shipwrecks." While
searching for Green Bay's hazardous Death's Door Passage in a northwest
gale, the schooner struck a rocky beach with a grinding crash that sheared
off a mast. Several days later, another gale pounded her to pieces. Today,
the easily accessible Fleetwing, located in shallow, protected water, is an
attraction for divers, snorkelers, and kayakers.
