Lake Michigan Forum Meeting
May 7-8, 2001
Three Rivers, Michigan

The next Lake Michigan Forum meeting will take place May 7 and 8, 2001 in
Three Rivers, Michigan, in the heart of the beautiful St. Joseph River
basin. The meeting will focus on Forum work planning, with additional
sessions relating to activities of the Forum's Agriculture Pollution
Prevention Task Force.

The Lake Michigan Forum provides public input to U.S. EPA on the Lake
Michigan Lakewide Management Plan (LaMP). Forum participants are
stakeholders in the Lake Michigan Basin which include industry,
environmental groups, sport fishing groups, academia, agriculture, and
Native Americans. The Forum meets quarterly at different locations around
the basin to interact with citizens to discuss local issues effecting the
Lake, to provide input into the work of the participating government
agencies, and to discuss implementation of the Forum's work plan.
