MINNESOTA SHORELAND MANAGEMENT Resource Guide

The mission of this online portal is to empower individuals to adopt 
practices to protect Minnesota's shorelands and waters. The site 
contains scientific and technical background, quick and easy answers 
(FAQs), highlights of citizen action, and contact information for 
Minnesota counties.

TALL SHIPS Challenge: The Great Lakes 2001

Late June through mid-August, more than a dozen Tall Ships will be 
sailing the waters of the Great Lakes. Ports of call will include 
Kingston and Port Colborne, Ontario; Cleveland, Ohio; and Detroit, Bay 
City and Muskegon, Mich. The "US Niagara" (based in Erie, Pa.), the 
"Concordia" (Quebec), and the "Pride of Baltimore II" (Maryland) are 
among the largest vessels on the tour.

U.S. EPA Region 2 GREAT LAKES PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS

U.S. EPA Region 2 is responsible for management of the portions of the 
Great Lakes ecosystem bordered by New York State. This includes Lake 
Ontario, a small portion of Lake Erie, the Niagara River, which connects 
Lake Erie and Lake Ontario, and a portion of the upper St. Lawrence 
River, which flows out of Lake Ontario.

Pennsylvania's only Great Lakes port has unveiled a new web site 
highlighting the city's Bayfront District and the services of the 
Erie-Western PA Port Authority.
