Michigan Director Testifies Before Congress
In Support of H.R. 1230
WHO: Helen Taylor, state director, The Nature Conservancy-Michigan Chapter
WHAT: Testimony urging adoption of H.R. 1230, a bill to create an
international wildlife refuge along the lower Detroit River.
The U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Fisheries,
Conservation, Wildlife & Oceans will be holding a hearing tomorrow on
legislation sponsored by Congressman John Dingell (D-Dearborn) to create a
first-of-its-kind international wildlife refuge along the Detroit River.
