Announcing a workshop on Streamside and Storm Water Management for elected
officials and their representatives.

Are you and your community prepared for the potential costs involved for
compliance with new USEPA regulations as well as the decisions needed to
prevent further problems to downstream areas?  Proper maintenance and
management of streamside areas can help decrease streambank erosion while
improving streamwater quality and appearance.  Phase II Storm Water
Regulations will be coming into effect in the near future.  This workshop
will provide you with information and tools to help you make better
decisions that will save your community from expensive restoration,
compliance, and repair costs.

Date:  August 21, 2001
Time:  8:30 am - 1:30 pm
Place: Sleepy Hollow Golf Course
Brecksville, Ohio

+ Implementing Local Watershed Stewardship Programs

+ Institutional Arrangements & Tools, including Model Riparian Zone
Protection Ordinances, Conservation Easements, and How to make Ordinances
Work for You

+ NE Ohio 208 Water Quality Management Plan

Registration Fee of $30.00 includes all workshop materials, excellent
reference notebook and handouts, Continental Breakfast and BBQ Lunch

Registration and Fee Deadline is August 7, 2001

Due to limited space, registration preference will be given to elected
officials and their representatives.
