GLIN==> Question On Species Returns

Here, in Ontario's Niagara Peninsula, the peregrine
falcon, bald eagle, river otter and beaver are being
seen for the first time in up to 75 or more years.
These are not reintroductions, but natural expansion
back into Niagara. Is this sort of thing occurring
elsewhere in the Great Lakes basin? And not just with
these animals, but other animals and perhaps plants as
well?

I'm a freelance writer and had a news item on this in
the June issue of Ontario Out Of Doors.

Thank you.
