The Great Lakes Commission is holding its 2001 Annual Meeting on Oct. 
10-12 at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The 
GLC now offers online registration so that you can more easily register 
for this event. See http://www.glc.org/announce/01/register/

ABOUT THE ANNUAL MEETING
The 2001 Annual Meeting of the Great Lakes Commission will feature 
discussion and action on key regional issues related to environmental 
protection, resource management, and transportation and sustainable 
development. Advocacy efforts associated with the "Great Lakes Program 
for Environmental and Economic Prosperity" will be reviewed and recent 
policy initiatives discussed. Social activities will include a special 
event, reception and dinner. Related events, which are open to all, 
include meetings of the Great Lakes Dredging Team and the Great Lakes 
Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Task Force.
