Watershed Concepts and Management for Local Officials, Public Administrators
and Practitioners

This is a virtual university Internet course that is offered annually--fall,
spring and summer--at Michigan State University. This module will introduce
Local Officials, Public Administrators and Practitioners to the foundations
of watershed hydrology and management. Each of the 6 units in this module
presents a key concept, followed by descriptions of available data,
monitoring and evaluation techniques, and assessment tools pertaining to
that concept. At the end of each unit, students must complete an exercise
using the unit's key concepts and tools.
