FOX RIVER CLEAN UP -- WHAT IS THE RETURN ON INVESMENT?
November 14, 2001, 7 - 9 PM
Christie Theater, UW-Green Bay Student Union
Green Bay, WI

The forum will examine how the proposed cleanup of PCB contaminated
sediments and the restoration of natural resources in the Fox River and
Green Bay will effect the economy, environmental quality and sustainability
of communities in the region.

What are the costs and benefits of proposed actions? What are the expected
effects on the regional economy, human health, the ecosystem and quality of
life for communities along the river and bay, both now and in the future?
Can we afford the cleanup? Can we afford not to take action?

Seven panelists representing government, business, industry, environmental
interests and academia will present their perspectives and answer questions
from the public.

Panelists include:

Dr. Hallett J. Harris, Professor Emeritus, Natural and Applied Sciences,
Ecology, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay
