SITE OF THE MONTH for December: Lake Erie Binational Public Forum
The Lake Erie Binational Public Forum provides input on the Lake Erie
Lakewide Management Plan (LaMP). The Lake Erie LaMP is coordinated by
government agencies in the United States and Canada, with the aim of
restoring and protecting the beneficial uses of Lake Erie, such as safe
beaches, clean drinking water, and healthy fish and wildlife
populations. Made up of citizens representing various interests and
geographic areas from around the Lake Erie basin, the Forum meets three
times annually to work on tasks associated with the goals of the LaMP.
Visit <erieforum.org> to learn more about the Forum's activities!
