GLIN==> Heavy Hitters Joint Lake Michigan Federation Board



Chicago, IL - The Lake Michigan Federation, the oldest citizens' Great Lakes
organization in North America, today announced its new slate of board
members.

"This is one of the most vibrant, dedicated group of people imaginable,"
said Sophia Twichell, president of the Federation's board. "The mix of
expertise and energy will help the Federation continue its work as a leader
in protecting the nation's most spectacular water treasure." The
Federation's incoming board class includes:

*	Francis X. Lyons - Former administrator and Clinton appointee of the
U.S. EPA's Region 5 office in Chicago, now a partner with the law firm
Gardner, Carton & Douglas.

*	Bob Shrauger - Attorney from Pentwater, Michigan, and former
congressional candidate.

*	Nick Bothfeld - Independent marketing expert of Lake Forest,
Illinois, who most recently served as Vice President and chief marketing
officer for Morningstar.

*	Nancy Fishman - Executive Director of the Grand Victoria Foundation
in Elgin, Illinois.

*	Matt Hayden - President of Hayden-Graham, LLC, in Madison,
Wisconsin.

*	Dale Bryson - Former director of U.S. EPA Region 5's Water Division,
of Naperville, Illinois.

*	Denise Marx - Of the National Association of Realtors in Chicago,
Illinois.

*	Christopher Tracy - Former assistant U.S. Attorney, now with the law
firm of Fognani Guibord Homsy & Roberts in Chicago, Illinois.

*	James Messick - Muskegon County Health Department in Muskegon,
Michigan.

*	Colleen Reilly - Environmental consultant with CH2M Hill in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Lake Michigan Federation works to restore fish and wildlife habitat,
conserve land and water, and eliminate toxic pollution in the watershed of
the largest lake within the United States. We achieve this through
education, research, law, science, economics, and strategic partnerships.
