"NONINDIGENOUS SPECIES: OCCURRENCE, IMPACT, AND RISK ANALYSIS"

Dr. David Lodge
University of Notre Dame, Department of Biological Science

ABSTRACT:
As examples of the importance of nonindigenous species as a cause of
biodiversity loss and ecosystem change, Lodge will present case studies of
fish, zebra mussels, and crayfish invasions in inland lakes and the Great
Lakes.  In addition, he will present a framework and examples of risk
analysis for future invaders into the Great Lakes.
