SITE OF THE MONTH for April: Pennsylvania Sea Grant
As part of the National Sea Grant Program, Pennsylvania Sea Grant promotes
efforts to understand and manage environmental and economic issues related
to Pennsylvania's Lake Erie and Delaware River watersheds. PA Sea Grant
incorporates extension, education, and applied research components linked to
a communication program in its effort to improve the environmental and
economic vitality of the Commonwealth's important coastal regions.

Case study on the impacts of CLIMATE CHANGE on the Great Lakes
A joint project of U.S. EPA, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the
National Park Service, this report outlines the potential effects of climate
change on wildlife and wildlands in the Great Lakes and Upper Midwest.

This project at Bowling Green State University collects, preserves, and
makes available to scholars, students and the public, historical materials
documenting the Great Lakes region and connecting waterways. Includes a
Great Lakes Vessels Online Image Database and a Great Lakes Maritime
Personnel Index.

Lake ST. CLAIR / St. Clair River Management Plan
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Great Lakes Commission are
developing a binational, comprehensive management plan for Lake St. Clair
and the St. Clair River. The goals of this planning effort are to evaluate
the causes of environmental stress to the St. Clair River and Lake St.
Clair; determine management goals and objectives; review ongoing management
activities; and develop recommendations for management priorities.

The Lake Michigan Forum provides public input to U.S. EPA on the Lake
Michigan Lakewide Management Plan (LaMP) and is a medium for public
