Restoring Impaired Wetlands and Other Waters

SYMPOSIUM GOALS
The goal of this national symposium will be to assess the successes and
failures of science and policy related to restoration of wetlands and
related waters and, most importantly, to point to methods for improving
future success. Success in managing and improving the quality of wetlands
nationally requires the marriage of sound science and balanced policy.

Concurrent with the advances in wetlands restoration, increasing concern has
been raised nationally regarding the quality of aquatic resources,
particularly water quality impairment caused by nonpoint sources. While this
has been an area of ever increasing attention for streams and rivers,
similar attention has not been directed to wetlands.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS
A reserved block of rooms are available at The Westin Hotel, located at 50
South Capitol Avenue in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.  The conference
rates are $79 for single occupancy and $109 for double occupancy, plus tax.
