Preserve the DUNES

A recent Michigan Court of Appeals ruling has stopped mining of a
critical dune area near the Lake Michigan shores in southwest Michigan.
Preserve the Dunes, who had filed the suit, is a grass roots,
not-for-profit organization with an interest in preserving the state's
sand dunes that are being destroyed by mining and threatened by
development. Photo Chronology: http://www.daac.com/sosdunes/photos.html
