State of the Lakes: "Mixed-Deteriorating"

The State of the Lakes Ecosystem Conference has spent the past six years
developing and evaluating indicators of Great Lakes ecosystem health.  This
year's SOLEC, held in Cleveland October 15-18, came up with a generally
"mixed-deteriorating" diagnosis. Unfortunately it did not address a cure.
