Public Meeting Announcement

The Grand Calumet River Restoration Fund Council is a team of federal and
state agencies taking steps to determine the extent of contamination on the
West Branch of the Grand Calumet River and developing a plan for river
clean-up and restoration.

The Council is holding public meetings to inform and gather input from
interested groups and individuals about work on the West Branch.  If you are
interested in the future of the Grand Calumet River in Hammond and East
Chicago, Indiana, your attendance and participation is very important!

A meeting to provide information and solicit public input on current and
planned river activities is scheduled for:

Wednesday, February 5th, 2003
6:30 p.m.
Hammond Public Library
564 State Street, Hammond, IN
