The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency are offering a two-day workshop on "Measuring
Atmospheric Mercury: Goals, Methods, and Results" Designed to promote discussion of
atmospheric mercury monitoring, this workshop will look at goals, methods, and
results of monitoring activities. Expert researchers will report on recent
undertakings including mercury vapor measurement methods, emissions
characterization, atmospheric deposition for determination of temporal trends or
source attribution, and atmospheric transformation and fate
research.
