As a follow-up to the Lake Michigan: State of the Lake '99 and '01 conferences and the International Joint Commission Biennial Meeting, the Lake Michigan: State of the Lake '03 conference is an opportunity for scientific researchers, government agencies, policy makers, and the general public to communicate with one another on current Lake Michigan issues. This two-day event has plenary and breakout sessions as well as posters and displays.
The latest information on scientific research, Great Lakes legislation, the Lake Michigan Lakewide Management Plan, Watershed Academy, modeling and data management, wetlands, invasive species, Lake Michigan Mass Balance Study, and many other topics will be presented by the speakers.
The Great Lakes Beach Association (GLBA) is holding its annual meeting and poster presentation at this conference.
