GLIN==> EPA Science Inventory released

EPA launches online Science Inventory

U.S. EPA Acting Deputy Administrator Steve Johnson has launched the EPA
Science Inventory at http://www.epa.gov/si. The EPA Science Inventory is a
searchable, Agency-wide catalog of current, recently completed, and archived
science activities
and products. Originally designed to help EPA scientists and managers
coordinate the planning and development of science activities, the Science
Inventory now provides the public with a new window into EPA's quality
science program.

The Science Inventory contains thousands of records providing information
such as project descriptions, contacts for additional
information and electronic links to related work and final reports. To
ensure the most up-to-date information is available, new activities and
products are added as they become available in addition to an annual data
call. Users can perform keyword searches or can search within specific
science topics such as, genomics, tribal science, and children’s health.

The database is managed by EPA's Office of Research and Development under
the guidance of the Agency's Science Policy Council. For more information
contact Paul Zielinski at 202-564-6772.
