Abstract
Portable wireless observation buoys based on the IEEE 802.11b standard are being developed to provide real-time chemical, biological, and physical measurements. Integrated circuit based microsensors are being developed in collaboration with Sensicore, Inc. that are capable measuring pH, conductivity, chloride, ammonium, and dissolved oxygen in a single low-cost package.
