Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant 2004 Research Symposium

How can we stop Asian carp from entering the Great Lakes? What are the
impacts of mercury and other contaminants to the Lake Calumet region?
Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant is sponsoring a showcase of high-quality,
cutting-edge research taking place in the Southern Lake Michigan region. We
invite you to join us and meet with researchers, local water resource
managers, and representatives of agencies addressing Great Lakes issues.

The symposium will take place on Tuesday, May 18, 2004, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00
p.m. in the Ralph Metcalf Federal Building, 77 W. Jackson Blvd., Room 331,
Chicago, Illinois 60602. This event is free, although pre-registration is
