Slow-Motion Disaster - The movie industry and the military are both

Producer Responsibility - Manufacturers in some European countries are
responsible for the entire life of their products, including their
disposal. (5/11/04)
Menu Change for Scottish Seabirds - Commercial fishing boats discard a
lot of fish, and many seabirds love the leftovers. But some seabirds in
Scotland now have to deal with a serious change in menus. (5/12/04)
Short Lived Stability - Methane is a potent greenhouse gas, and
concentrations of it in the atmosphere rose steadily for years. They
leveled off for a while but they're going up again. (5/13/04)
Conservation on the High Seas - A noted oceanographer says we need to
protect more of the ocean along the coasts and on the high seas as well.
