GLIN==> Urban Wood Inventory RFP

The Southeast Michigan Resource Conservation and Development Council plans
to address the Emerald Ash Borer infestation in Southeast Michigan in a
positive way by implementing an Ash Utilization Options Grant from the USDA
Forest Service Economic Action Program.

One significant goal of our project is to conduct an inventory of urban wood
resources in Southeast Michigan with the help of a consultant. The RC&D
Council is currently accepting pre-proposals from experienced consultants
specializing in sustainable business development research. Pre-proposals
should outline a comprehensive stratified sampling system that will
characterize the resource availability and, if time and budget allow, the
market opportunities for urban wood residues in the EAB quarantine area.

All pre-proposal materials must be received by the RC&D Council no later
than 5 p.m. on November 8, 2004. Applicants will be notified by mail of
their review status within 6-8 weeks of the application deadline.
