Volunteer Water Quality Monitoring
Survey
The
Michigan Clean Water Corps is conducting an online survey of
volunteer monitoring programs in Michigan. Survey results will serve as the
basis for developing the Volunteer Water Quality Monitoring Network. This network will be an integral part
of the Water Corps program and will
be used to facilitate data reporting and information sharing and will provide a
forum for communication and support among volunteer monitoring groups. Results will also be used to
provide Water Corps staff with
detailed information on volunteer water quality monitoring programs that are
currently working to assess and protect Michigan's inland lakes, Great
Lakes, rivers, or streams. The survey
is online at: http://www.glc.org/micorps/survey.
The deadline for
completing the online survey is December 1, 2004.
