THE SOCIETY OF AMERICAN MILITARY ENGINEERS DETROIT POST JANUARY LUNCHEON TOPIC: Great Lakes Legacy Act The $270 million U.S. EPA Great Lakes Legacy Act was authorized in November 2002 to help clean up contaminated sediments. The presentation and panel discussion will review the program from inception to implementation and beyond, including the case study of Black Lagoon, the first project under the Great Lakes Legacy Act.
