NALMS 2005: Lake AEffects: People/Water Exploring the Relationship
25th International Symposium of the North American Lake Management Society
Hosted by: Wisconsin Association of Lakes
Date: November 9-11, 2005
Site: Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center
Madison, WI
Madison, WI - the birthplace of limnology in North America - is the venue
for the 25th Annual International Symposium. The 25th Symposium explores
the relationship between people and lakes and their watersheds, recognizing
that each affects, and has an effect, on the other. The conference will
have something for everyone - from specialized lake scientists and natural
resource managers to lake dwellers and concerned citizens to budding
environmentalists of all ages.
