WETLAND DELINEATION TRAINING WORKSHOPS
Workshops are being offered to engineers, planners, scientists, resource managers, local and tribal officials, and other interested parties who deal with wetland delineation in Wisconsin. They combine classroom instruction with field exercises taught by leading government experts in hydrology, vegetation, soils and wetland policy. A certificate of participation and University of Wisconsin-Extension Continuing Education units will be awarded to each participant upon completion of each training session. Participants will be added to a list of delineators that is provided to federal, state and local officials. However, participants are not officially certified or licensed as wetland delineators by any government agency.
