2005 Beach Contamination Source Identification Techniques Workshop
April 14 and 15, 2005
Starting: Thursday April 14, 2005 at 10:30 AM
Ending: Friday April 15, 2005 at 3:00 PM
Door County, WI at the Landmark Resort located in Egg Harbor, WI.
WHAT: This workshop will focus on techniques for beach contamination source
identification. Microbiologists, Limnologists, Conservationists, City
Engineers, and Public Health Officials from research institutions and
communities on Lake Michigan and Superior will present current source
identifications techniques.
WHY: This workshop is designed to train and prepare water resource managers
and political representatives for conducting beach contamination source
identification and reduction projects by providing information and examples
of techniques that have been used in other communities around Lake Michigan
and Superior.
WHO: Technical water resource managers and political representatives in the
state of Wisconsin (including inland lake areas).
COST: The cost of the workshop registration is $55. This includes four
meals and workshop materials.

and Water Conservation Department by April 5, 2005
Rooms are available at the Landmark Resort for the government rates of
$63/night for one bedroom units or $71/night for two bedroom units.
