members are expected to hear a progress report on the Clean Ohio Fund
from John Magill, director of the Office of Urban Development in the Ohio
Department of Development. Magill and Tiffani Kavalec of the Ohio Environmental
Protection Agency will focus on successful Clean Ohio projects along the Commission
members are also expected to select the latest round of Small Grant projects.
Executive director Edwin Hammett will provide a progress report on the
implementation of the commission’s Balanced Growth Program, including the
latest developments in the request for proposals for Watershed Pilot Projects. Commission
staff will also present an overview of 2005 public outreach programs, including
Coastweeks 2005, the “Life on All
meetings of the Ohio Lake Erie Commission are open to the public and include a
public comment period. Organizations and citizens are urged to attend this
meeting and provide input on issues of concern. The
Ohio Lake Erie Commission is comprised of the directors of the Ohio EPA and Ohio
DNR, as well as the directors of the state departments of transportation,
development, health and agriculture. It was established for the purpose of
