Fishery Research Program Assistant
Agency: Great Lakes Fishery Commission
Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Responsibilities: Assist Science Director with research planning, contract administration, and fishery research projects in support of the Commission’s Fishery Research and Sea Lamprey Research Programs. The successful applicant will help coordinate panels with scientists from Canada and the US. Incumbent will become familiar with a broad range of research projects that span the biological and social sciences.
Qualifications: Incumbent must have basic background in biology, fishery biology, conservation, or a related discipline; be interested in natural resources management; organizationally skillful; proficient with word processing and spreadsheet programs; and have excellent communication skills. Statistical background useful. Appointment would be for a 2 year renewable term. Email application letter and vita to contact below. Position available immediately.
