The Central New York Region of the American Society for Photogrammetry and 
Remote Sensing (ASPRS) and the Great Lakes Commission are collaborating to 
provide you an outstanding opportunity to learn about satellite, airborne 
and in-situ remote sensing technologies currently used to study, monitor and 
manage the Great Lakes - St. Lawrence River system.

RDX 06, a biennial event, provides a forum for new and exciting exchange of 
ideas, knowledge and expertise between policy makers, scientists and 
engineers who study, monitor and manage the Great Lakes - St. Lawrence River 
system. We invite you to join us!

We welcome presentations on these and other topics related to conference 
theme:

   a.. Observing systems and activities, such as multispectral, 
hyperspectral, lidar data acquistions and point source data collected from 
remotely deployed platforms
   b.. Monitoring programs and needs to support research, policy and 
management
   c.. Integrated data management and distribution requirements, including 
applications in limnology, land use/land cover change, water quality and 
quantity, wetlands,biodiversity issues, emergency response, natural disaster 
mitigation, natural resource management and environmental monitoring

The deadline for submitting abstracts is Monday, December 19, 2005. To 
submit your abstract in this conference, please complete an online Abstract 
Submission Form with a title, and abstract (limit 250 words). Presenters 
will be notified of acceptance by January 16, 2006.
